Sunday services are held at 10:30am and 6.30pm and whilst we use mainly contemporary songs, our worship also includes a variety of traditions and styles which reflects the diversity in our congregation. A number of members are actively involved in either preaching or leading worship.
Our aim is to ground worship in scripture and provide an opportunity for everyone to draw closer to God through worship.
We tend to have 80-110 people in the morning, a dozen or so in the evenings, rising to around 25-30 for the Worship Hour. The Sunday morning congregation includes a small number of children and teenagers, a bigger group of students and those in their 20s and 30s, a larger group in their 40s and 50s as well as a large group of retired folk.
Evening services follow a variety of formats including a communion service and a more informal evening of sharing thoughts. The bi-monthly Worship Hour is a time of praise and worship in a more free flowing format, with an opportunity to share, pray together and develop spiritual gifts.
