Alpha Examines these questions;

  • What happens when we die?
  • What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?
  • How do we deal with guilt?

If you would like to explore any of these questions, then Alpha is for you.

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone!

What happens at Alpha?
There is a series of talks looking at such topics as:
  • Week 1 - Who is Jesus?
  • Week 2 - Why did Jesus die?
  • Week 3 - How can I be sure of my faith?
  • Week 4 - Why and how should I read the Bible?
  • Week 5 - Why and how should I pray?
  • Week 6 - How does God guide us?
  • Week 7 - How can I resist evil?
  • Week 8 - Why and how should I tell others?
  • Week 9 - Does God heal Today?
  • Week 10 - What about the Church?

After each talk there is time for everyone to discuss any issues or questions they have, giving you the opportunity to get to know each other and learn together.

At the end of a course a supper party is held to celebrate and a chance to bring friends and along to find out what Alpha is all about and to join a course. There is a short talk, food and high quality entertainment. One or two people may be interviewed about their experiences of the course. Copies of the booklet "Why Jesus?" are available to take home.

What will Alpha cost?
There is no charge for the Alpha course.
